Chase and Holland specialise in the recruitment of Finance and HR staff. The 2 founding Directors have over 15 years experience in specialist recruitment and have a team that have also worked within the industry. Our portfolio of clients varies from FTSE 100 organisations to small and medium sized enterprises. We are currently recruiting for a number of businesses that are looking for candidates with finance backgrounds who are seeking their next opportunity.

Our client is the UK's market-leading manufacturer and distributor of a specialist product. Their precision-manufactured products provide a complete one-stop-shop solution for a variety of projects. They are currently looking to recruit a permanent Credit Controller to work within their team in Alfreton.
The role will incorporate:

- Chasing debt, predominately through telephone calls but also through fax, letters and e-mail
- Cash allocation
- Identifying and dealing with queries from the company's ledger of clients
- Liaising with management personnel and clients
- Requesting credit notes where necessary

The successful candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time on the telephone, chasing debt and dealing with queries. This role is therefore very much suited to a confident individual who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in this field of work would be advantageous but not necessity.

Working hours are 8:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch. Not only is our client offering a healthy salary for this position, they also offer a potential £1000-£1200 annual bonus if targets are met. The package also includes 20 days (+ stats) with an extra day's holiday per year with them (up to a maximum of 25 days in total). The employee will also have the option of joining the company's pension scheme once the probationary period has been passed.
